Vendela Kirsebom Biography

Vendela Kirsebom Thommessen, born 12 January 1967 in Stockholm, is a Norwegian-Swedish supermodel, host and actor.

Her biological father is from Turkey and her mother from Norway. Vendela himself was born and raised in Sweden. Her childhood summers she spent often in his mother’s homeland of Norway. At age 13, wrote Kirsebom contract with modeling agency Mikas. Kirsebom is married to the Norwegian politician Olaf Thommessen that she has two children. She lives in Nesodden in Norway and works as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.

As a 18-year-old, she moved to Italy to work as a model full time. Shortly thereafter, she wrote a contract with Elizabeth Arden. 1993 she became the cover girl for the prestigious swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated. She has worked with Victoria’s Secret and has also been featured in the film Batman & Robin 1997th 1999 she was host of the Eurovision Song Contest together with Anders Lundin.

Kirsebom married politician Olaf Thommessen in 1996 and they have two daughters. She works as a health and fashion reporter for the television program God morgen Norge.
