Alek Wek was born April 16, 1977 is a model of South Sudan.

Belonging to the Dinka ethnic group, she fled her country with her family in 1991 in Britain to escape the civil war between Christians and Muslims in South of the North. She began her career at age 18. At a party in 1997, she received a testing proposal from Fiona Ellis. But fearing the hoax, the woman refuses.
