    Tinie Tempah Biography

    Tinie Tempah (born November 7, 1988 in London, real name Patrick Okogwu) is a British grime MC and rapper from South London. His parents are of Nigerian origin and he has a brother and two sisters. He is especially successful in the UK and celebrated there with his debut album Disc-Overy and two singles Pass Out and Written in the Stars the lead.

    Career

    Tinie Tempah Wifey first song of 2006 was an underground hit in Britain and topped the British charts Urban.

    He founded with his cousin and manager Dumi Oburota the label Disturbing London, which was intended both for his own music as well as for other young musicians.

    When the scout Jade Richardson at the Wireless Festival saw him, she called her boss Miles Leonard, Parlophone, which together with the A & R Nathan Thompson a few weeks later Tempah and his manager visited the studio. In October 2009 Tempah announced that he had signed with Parlophone.

    In February 2010 he released his first official single pass and reached out with 92,000 copies at number one on the British charts. In June, he played at the Glastonbury Festival the song together with Snoop Dogg live. At the BRIT Awards 2011 gained two awards Tinie Tempah: as a British breakthrough act and British single for the track Pass Out. On 6 June he released his second single Frisky, which landed at number two in Britain and Ireland on rank 3 and it achieved sales of 96,000.   The first two singles have sold more than 750,000 times together. Came with the third single Written in the Stars in 2011 he finally achieved a breakthrough in the U.S.. The same song was also the theme song for Wrestlemania 27th Fourth single in October in Miami 2 Ibiza, the title could be placed in some other European countries like Sweden, Netherlands and Belgium in the top 10. Only after he released his long awaited debut album Disc-Overy.

    His fifth single Invincible has grown in Europe more than 150,000 copies worldwide.   In Great Britain, he also published Wonderman with Ellie Goulding.

    His first tour with performances by Chiddy Bang it launched in October 2010, after he had already toured with the likes of Jay-Z, Rihanna, Chipmunk and Mr Hudson was. In January 2011, also was a guest at the OMG tour of Usher.

    2011 he also contributed to a feature on the album No More Idols by Chase and Status: the song Hitz.

    On 13 October he released his biography My story so far in the trade.

    In June 2011 he said in an interview that he was working on a new album which will be released in December.   Due to his UK arena tour, however, he postponed the publication until April of next year. End of 2011, he said that he has several artists such as Gary Barlow, Chris Martin, Dizzee Rascal and The Script requested a feature for his second album.

    On 24 November, he released the song Like It Or Love It, along with Wretch 32 and J. Cole from his upcoming mixtape Happy Birthday.
