    Terry Richardson Biography

    Terry Richardson (born 1965 in New York City) is an American photographer. He became famous for his provocative, sexually-toned photo series for the fashion brand Sisley. Richardson is often from sexual motives, and the British Guardian newspaper called Richardson’s controversial photography fashion style as “soft porn”.

    In March 2010, Richardson made headlines when his sexual exploitation of young female models were accused. Encouraged, the allegations of supermodel Rie Rasmussen after he had published a photograph of her in his book terry world, Rasmussen said, Richardson used his power as a photographer to move young women nude photos   This was followed, some anonymous. , accusations of other people on websites.     Richardson is the son of fashion photographer Bob Richardson. Terry’s mother, Norma, a stylist and dancer, had her son in her work is always there. That was how Terry Richardson early influenced by the fashion world in Paris and London. Five years after his birth, his father Bob Richardson divorce his wife. Terry and his mother moved to Woodstock, where she met her second husband. When he was eleven years old, she crashed hard in a car accident and was one month in a coma. She survived, but remained a part of their brain damaged beyond repair, so they had to obtain a livelihood for herself and her son from public assistance. In his youth, Richardson played in a punk band called “Doggy Style” later “Signal Street Alcoholics”, but it never came to recordings. While touring with his band, he began to photograph.

    He worked for fashion brands like Sisley, Gucci, Supreme, Levi’s, Hugo Boss, Anna Molinari, Baby Phat, and Matsuda, also for the magazines Vogue, Vice, Harper’s Bazaar, The Face, Dazed & Confused and GQ. Richardson is a hallmark of amateur, very raw and direct style.
